Kids enjoy creatures, they think they are cute. Most kiddies like furry creatures - like pets, cats, rabbits, hamsters, tarantulas.... Tarantulas? That's what our 3 year previous wants for his birthday! His thought got me to thinking. What makes the BEST puppy for a young child?

Our daughter enjoys spiders - little, big, garden, room, bath....he really wants to puppy them and swing them. A pal of ours has a son fascinated by snails and slugs - he comes house from college with pocket fulls of these! Students are good aren't they?

Professionally, I'michael a huge lover of spiders too - I held a tarantula for 10 years, and she was fascinating.
